Care for every
stage of growing up
From your child's first evaluation to ongoing medication management, Rooted Minds provides psychiatric care built around the whole person — not just a diagnosis.
Emotional Balance
& Mood Support
Help for children and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, or school stress — building confidence and coping skills for home, school, and social life.
Growth, Change & Trauma-Informed Care
Compassionate support for young people navigating developmental changes, family transitions, school challenges, or trauma — in a safe, age-appropriate environment.
Medication & Ongoing Psychiatric Support
Thoughtful medication evaluation when needed, crisis support for suicidal thoughts or self-harm, and ongoing care with family and school collaboration.
Psychiatric Evaluation
A thorough first look at your child's mental health — including history, current symptoms, and goals — so care starts on solid ground.
ADHD Screenings & Evaluation
A structured, comprehensive process for evaluating attention, executive function, and related challenges — with clear findings and next steps for families.
Follow-Up Visits
Ongoing check-ins to monitor progress, adjust medications if needed, and stay responsive to how your child is doing at home, school, and beyond.
What to expect
when you reach out
Initial contact
Reach out by phone or through our intake form. We'll ask a few questions to make sure we're the right fit before scheduling.
Psychiatric evaluation
Your first appointment is a full evaluation — unhurried, comprehensive, and family-inclusive when appropriate.
Care plan
We review findings together and discuss options — including whether medication is appropriate — before moving forward.
Ongoing support
Follow-up visits keep care responsive. We coordinate with schools and families as needed and adjust the plan as your child grows.
Care for every
stage of growing up
Our services are designed specifically for young people — not adapted from adult care. That difference shows in every appointment.
Children
Ages 5–12
We use warm, play-informed approaches to help kids navigate big feelings, school challenges, and family transitions — in a space where they feel safe to be exactly who they are.
Adolescents
Ages 13–17
The teen years are complex. We offer a judgment-free space for adolescents to explore identity, mental health, and emotions — with care that honors their growing independence.
Young Adults
Ages 18–26
Emerging adulthood brings its own pressures — college, relationships, identity, and transitions. We provide collaborative care that meets young adults where they are.
Let's find the right
